Golf Course Marking and Definition

We understand the daily stress that golf course operations and grounds staff deal with in-season. It is hard to find time to commit the 3-6 hours to properly mark and define a golf course on a regular basis. That is where PGS can assist! Our staff has achieved EXPERT Certification in the USGA Rules of Golf which helps in our ability to recommend certain boundary definitions or modifications when performing our services. 

A golf course with clearly defined Out-of-Bounds and Penalty Area boundaries freshly defined by paint and stakes is more aesthetically pleasing than when it is not.  The below pricing details our services but we still welcome calls for any custom needs that you may have!

Annual Marking and Definition (M&D)-  Ranges between $150-$400*
 - Includes introductory course tour with the host Professional, Superintendent, or Facility Manager
 - Includes the marking and definition of all Penalty Areas and Out-Of-Bounds boundaries.
 - Marking paint and course stakes are NOT included. The facility may provide the paint and stakes if they choose, or PGS can provide at the below pricing.
 * Price range is for (18) Holes and varies depending on the golf course initial marking requirements and location

Add-On Options

The Refresher-  Ranges between $150-$300*
 - Repeat marking services in the same calendar year (assuming an Annual M&D was performed)

Ground Under Repair- Between $50-$100
 - Add-on GUR option can be performed during any M&D service
 - All white paint is included in the add-on fee

PGS Course Stake and Paint Options

24” Painted Wooden Penalty Area Stakes (Red Only)-  $2 Each

20” High Quality Penalty Area Plastic Capped PVC Stakes (Red Only)-  $7 Each

30” High Quality Out-Of-Bounds Plastic Capped PVC Stakes (White Only)-  $6 Each

One (1) Can of Inverted Turf Marking Paint used while marking- $6-$7 Each

Annual Packages

Annual Razz Package-  $3,000 

- Includes an Annual M&D (See above for details) and monthly (Minimum of 6 total) Refresher visits
- Includes ALL paint used for Penalty Area definition for every visit

Terms & Conditions

· PGS Staff will require the use of a facility golf car/vehicle to perform all marking duties while on site. This may include access during off-hours to avoid peak on-course play.
